Biography:
Angie Benavent, daughter of the internationally acclaimed bass player Carles Benavent, was born in Barcelona (Spain) in 1983. She started playing piano at age 7 and writing songs on the guitar during high school.
She began her music career as singer and songwriter with the band Aston, before forming her own project in 2009. With this project, Angie Benavent released her first album called “El Tiempo” (bebyne enRgy) in December 2011. She counted on her own real-life experiences to produce “El Tiempo”, which was recorded with the collaboration of great musicians such as Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo or Uixi Amargós.
The sweet and intimate voice of this very talented young artist provides the listeners with inspirational moments.
